On February 20, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr. Lin Lin was interviewed by reporters from the Daily News and answered questions about the business cooperation between the two countries as well as China's assitance to Zimbabwe.
Ambassador Lin said that trade between the two countries grew from $310 million in 2003 to $1.1 billion in 2013. Since 2009, bilateral trade has been on a fast track of development. He believed that in the next five years, with deepened cooperation between the two sides, the trade volume will continue to grow. China also provides different forms of support to Zimbabwe, help it to develop the economy and to improve people's livelihood.
