On January 14, Chinese Ambassador Lin Lin met with the Zimbabwean First Lady Grace Mugabe at the Amai Mugabe Junior School in Mazowe.

Mrs. Mugabe welcomed Ambassador Lin's visit. She said that the friendship between China and Zimbabwe goes back a long way, and cooperation between the two countries have yielded fruitful results. As the principal of the school, Mrs. Mugabe expressed her sincere gratitude for China's assistance in building the school and constant support for the education sector of Zimbabwe.

Ambassador Lin said that Zimbabwe is China's good brother and good partner, and that China is happy to see the Zimbabwean people are making great efforts for economic development and the improvement of people's livelihood. China is willing to deepen cooperation with Zimbabwe in all areas and to bring tangible benefits to the two peoples. Ambassador Lin also introduced the two Chinese teachers sent by the Chinese government as its assistance to Zimbabwe. They will teach Chinese lessons at the school.
