On May 12th, donations and free clinic activities were held in Hossana Love in Africa Children's Home in suburb Harare. Madame Wang Wei, Commercial Counselor Chen Ning, President Li Xinfeng of Chinese Business Associations in Zimbabwe were present.

Wang extended festive greetings and best wishes to everyone, encouraging the children to be hopful and optimistic. She highly praised such organizations as Hossana Love for their long-term commitment to children's welfare and the help for disadvantaged children by improving their learning and living conditions. The Chinese embassy in Zimbabwe will, as always, actively participate in and support the charity work in Zimbabwe. China will strengthen cooperation with Zimbabwean government, local authorities, communities and charitable organizations to promote the sustainable development of orphan assistance projects.

The head of the Hossana Love in Africa Children's Home made positive comments on the people-to-people exchanges between China and Zimbabwe. On behalf of the embassy, Wang donated stationery, backpacks, notebooks and soccer balls to the children. The children from the orphanage presented home-made gifts to Wang and performed songs and dances to express their gratitude to their Chinese friends.

The medical team conducted free physical examination and free medical treatment for hundreds of children and their parents on the spot, and popularized health care information.
