A： The Chinese Government condemned the June 1 suicide bombing attack in Tel Aviv which caused serious casualties and loss of property. We have always been opposed to any form of terrorism targeted at civilians. The Chinese side has stated time and again that the use of force and confrontation could only serve to deepen each other’s hatred and the best way to solve the problem for Palestine and Israel is to hold talks and negotiations. We urge the parties concerned to exercise restraint to avoid the further deterioration of the situation and take practical and effective measures to reopen negotiations at an early date.
