China Online Visa Application System was officially launched on March 31, 2025. To ensure the smooth and timely processing of your visa application, we kindly request your attention to the following key points :

1. Online Application: Please complete your visa application online at the Official Visa Application Website: https://consular.mfa.gov.cn/VISA/ 

2. Select Visa Center: When selecting the city for your visa application, please choose"Harare, Zimbabwe."

3.Fill out the Online Visa Application Form and Upload Documents:

(1) Fill out the online application form carefully, truthfully, completely, and accurately as prompted.

(2) Select the correct visa type based on your actual purpose of visit.

(3) Upload a recent, clear passport-size photograph of applicant on a white background.

(4) Upload all required supporting documents clearly and in one session.

(5) Submit the completed application form online.

Important Note:Applying for a visa type that does not match your purpose of entry may lead to entry restrictions and affect future applications.

4. Requirements for Visa Type M and F: Applicants apply for visa Type M or Type F should upload a standard invitation letter containing the following details:

(1) Invitee's Information:Full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, etc.

(2) Visit Information:Purpose of visit, intended arrival and departure dates, itinerary, relationship between invitee and inviter, and source of financial support during the stay in China.

(3) Inviter's Information: Name of the inviting unit, contact number, address, official seal (for units), signature, and nationality of the inviter or legal representative.

Important Note: Applicants should take note of page 6 section 6.2 A of the application form. If you have applied for an F or M visa, please write the name of the inviting organization/company in China exactly as it appears on the invitation letter or according to how it was registered.

5. Applicants with children under the age of 18 should provide children's birth certificates, and affidavits of consent for travel from the parents or legal guardians. Copies of the parents' or guardians' I.D or passport should also be attached.

6. Once the application status shows "Passport to be submitted", the visa applicant should submit passport in person to the Embassy, along with the application form barcode and one recent passport-size photograph with a white background.

Application Advisory: The regular processing time is four business days, calculated from the date the passport is submitted. Please note that this is an average estimate for reference only. Some applications may require longer processing time, and a specific pick-up date can only be confirmed upon notification by the Visa Office. Applicants are advised to plan well in advance, allow sufficient processing time.
