Chinese Ambassador Lin Lin attends the Opening Ceremony of National Prosecution Authority Offices

On July 29, Zimbabwean Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa officially opened the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) offices in Harare. Chinese Ambassador Lin Lin attended the ceremony and donated office equipment including desktop computers, laptops and printers to NPA. Prosecutor General Tomana and officials of the NPA were present.

In his remarks, Ambassador Lin Lin briefly introduced the current China-Zimbabwean relations, thanked VP Mnangagwa and Prosecutor General Tomana for their support of the bilateral relations, and hoped that this donation will help the NPA better serve the nation and people of Zimbabwe.

VP Mnangagwa stressed the important role NPA could play in promoting rule-of-law in Zimbabwe, and thanked China for the lots of help it provided to Zimbabwe. He said that this donation symbolizes the two countries’ sincere friendship.

After the ceremony, VP Mnangagwa and Ambassador Lin Lintoured NPA , accompanied by Prosecutor General Tomana.
