BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- China will host a forum to boost exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and African non-official organizations, academic and business circles and the media.
About 300 delegates from China and 35 African states will attend the second China-Africa non-official forum slated for July 10 to 11 in Suzhou, a tourist resort and economic hub in east China.
"The forum will bridge contacts and exchanges between Chinese and African people," said Li Liqing, deputy secretary-general of the China NGO Network for International Exchanges.
The first China-Africa non-official forum was held in Nairobi, Kenya last year.
