Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding Meets with Zimbabwean Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry

On November 15th, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding met with Barbara Rwodzi,Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry of Zimbabwe. The two sides exchanged views on further promoting cooperation in tourism development.

Ambassador Zhou introduced the "Ten Partnership Actions" for modernization and relevant important measures proposed at the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. He pointed out that next year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Zimbabwe. China is willing to work with Zimbabwe to deepen tourism cooperation, better tap Zimbabwe's potentials in tourism, promote Zimbabwean tourism brands and encourage more Chinese tourists to visit Zimbabwe to further improve bilateral cultural and people-to-people exchanges.

Rwodzi appreciated the active efforts by the Chinese  side in promoting China-Zimbabwe tourism cooperation and encouraging Chinese tourists to visit Zimbabwe. She suggested that the two sides could further deepen cooperation in hospitality investment, green tourism economy and more facilitation to tourists. She looks  forward to receiving more Chinese tourists in Zimbabwe.
