Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding hosts the Reception for China-Zimbabwe Human Resources Development Cooperation in 2024

On November 29, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding hosted the Reception for China-Zimbabwe Human Resources Development Cooperation in 2024. Zimbabwean Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland East Apollonia Munzverengwi, Deputy Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion David Mnangagwa, Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Omphile Marupi, Deputy Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife John Paradza, Deputy Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development and Vocational Training Kudakwashe Mupamhanga, Mayor of Harare Jacob Mafume and around 140 representatives of attendees of China-Zimbabwe training and exchange programs attended the event.

Ambassador Zhou congratulated the trainees on their successful completion of the training and exchange programs in China, and highlighted the fruitful results of the bilateral cooperation on human resources development. He pointed out that talents are the key resources for national development, and China is willing to work with the Zimbabwe to implement the “10 partnership actions” initiative declared at the Summit of Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Beijing, further deepen the cooperation on human resources development, and support Zimbabwe to realize its Vision 2030. 

Minister Munzverengwi and Deputy Minister Mupamhanga spoke highly of the achievements of Chinese Modernization and the bilateral cooperation on human resources development. The trainees shared their experience and stories in China with the guests and media.
