Guo Yezhou, Vice Minister of International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee led a CPC goodwill delegation to visit Zimbabwe from May 4 to May 8, 2016. During the visit, he met with Hon. Chombo, Secretary of Administration of Zanu-PF as well as Secretaries General of ANC from South Africa, FRELIMO from Mozambique, MPLA from Angloa, CCM from Tanzania and SWAPO from Namibia who are attending the Meeting of Secretaries General of Former Liberation Movements of Southern Africa in Zimbabwe. Guo and the participants exchanged views on issues of common interest such as exchange and cooperation among the political parties.
