Air Zimbabwe successfully ended its virgin flight from Harare to Beijing from November 21 to November 25, with a short en route stop at Singapore. Zimbabwean ministers, businessmen, representatives from different sectors as well as Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, H. E. Zhang Xianyi, were invited as the first group of passengers to witness the event.
The coming flights will be scheduled on every Monday and Friday from Harare and arrive Beijing after about 15 hours' flight, with an hour technical stop at Singapore. This is the second direct line from African countries to Beijing since the launching of Addis Ababa-Beijing line by Air Ethiopia.
